Stefanie is originally from Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Tucson to obtain her BA from the University of Arizona.  Stefanie achieved her Master of Social Work degree from New Mexico State University. Remembering her experience in Tucson from her undergraduate studies, Stefanie returned to Tucson and has loved residing in the Old Pueblo for over 30 years.

Stefanie is an experienced therapist, having provided therapy to children, teenagers, and adults throughout her career. She has experience across various settings including residential treatment, outpatient, and as an administrator for three AHCCCS health plans.  Her experience covers both acute and long-term care.  She has worked both in direct care and administrative positions over the past 30 years. In her last position, as Clinical Director at MHC Healthcare, she oversaw multiple BH teams throughout the county, including programs in Employment, Housing, and the First Responders team. Stefanie enjoyed providing therapy to First Responders and their family members using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Cognitive Processing Therapy, and other modalities.

Stefanie is the proud mom of an adult daughter and enjoys spending time with friends and going to movies and sporting events.
