Lisa received a B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics from the University of Arizona followed by a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota. She brings to Cottonwood more than 20 years of experience in nutrition counseling. Lisa empowers residents to explore and cultivate realistic and sustainable ways of eating to support recovery and emotional well-being. She has a passion for helping individuals find peace with food and their bodies.

Lisa has written articles for many publications including Family Circle, Shape, The Nest, and Arizona Together, and was a contributing expert for the Conscious Cuisine Cookbook. She maintains membership in the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her two sons at many sporting events, cooking, traveling, gardening, and playing with her dog.
