Cathy Mros is an Alumni Coordinator at Cottonwood Tucson, bringing passion, lived experience, and strong community leadership to her role. A devoted mother of two, Cathy’s greatest source of joy and purpose has always been her family.
Cathy is open about her journey through addiction and her path to long-term recovery. She got clean and sober in 2020, and her lived experience quickly became the foundation of a career dedicated to helping others. She began working in the field in 2021 as a Peer Support Specialist, where her empathy and authenticity resonated with clients. Cathy was soon promoted to Center Manager—a position she held for four years—during which she also oversaw large community events that strengthened connection and support within the recovery community.
Now at Cottonwood Tucson, Cathy brings that same energy and expertise to her role as Alumni Coordinator. She is excited to expand alumni engagement, foster meaningful relationships, and create impactful events that support individuals long after treatment. Her commitment to recovery and community continues to inspire everyone around her.
